Coach Insignia Winter Wonderland Wedding – Detroit, MI

Rachel and Malcolm’s big day started out with a very snowy drive to the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit, right on the Detroit River and overlooking Windsor, Canada. Both the bride and groom spent the morning relaxing with their friends and family in their respective suites. After hair and makeup, the girls headed over to the Fort Street Presbyterian Church, constructed in 1855! It was snowing so hard that the church had to sweep the stairs every 30 minutes. The ceremony was full of personal touches including vows by both Rachel and Malcolm that had everyone laughing and then crying.  After the cermony  we stopped over at Hart Plaza for the FASTEST bridal party and just married photos ever! The wind was fierce and cold, and the snow was not letting up, but the bridal party braved it all for some amazing photos. The reception was held at the Coach Insignia – a restaurant on the 72nd floor of the Renaissance Building with a 360 degree view of the city. The details at the reception added the perfect personal touch to end the evening – tiny champagne bottles for everyone to take home! Thank you, Rachel and Malcolm, for letting me capture your snow-filled, gorgeous winter wonderland wedding day!!
