This couple was so fun to photograph and hang out with at their engagement session! They truly felt like old friends and I think we could of hung out for hours. They will be getting married this coming summer and I cannot wait to celebrate them! Capturing their day, at the beautiful Meadow Brook will be so fabulous! If you have not been to Meadow Brook, it is one of our prettiest venues in the Detroit area.
Meadow Brook was built between 1926 and 1929 by Matilda Dodge Wilson and second husband Alfred Wilson. Matilda was the widow of auto pioneer John Dodge. This venue has such a rich history and is worth taking a tour of!
Traveling to Michigan has become more and more frequent for couples and I am here for it! Our beautiful summer weather and views are something to experience, for sure. The shoreline is dotted with gorgeous lighthouses and interesting museums. There are farms and cider mills that are a perfect getaway for newlyweds. And for the outdoorsy there are plenty of trails and lakeside activities to get into.
