Skyline Loft Wedding- Chicago, IL

Photographing in Chicago is something that was a newer venture for me in the last couple years, but I love it! Chicago is a beautiful city with lots of fun and beautiful cityscapes. I have traveled a lot over the last few years, and Chicago is one of my favorites. I was able to go to Chicago for a Union Station engagement (HERE) session with this couple before their big day and then hang out at a local park. Getting to know the couple before hand was so amazing and only made me more excited to capture their big day! Traveling over to Chicago and exploring the city a little bit before the day was only half the fun! This venue was so unique and such a cool loft space. The day was very rainy with out any chance of going outside but we were ok and got amazing portraits inside of the loft! Having a location that can offer a beautiful inside space for rain back up options is always a great idea, especially if you are someone that naturally stresses more. The decor for this wedding was above and beyond gorgeous with the Lush hanging floral installations, candles and gold accents! I loved the table scapes with black plates, making the delicious and colorful food just pop! Bridesmaids had a very neutral pallet which complimented the traditional black tuxes perfectly! Every detail from the self designed wedding monogram to the reception dinner was thought out for this beautiful day and I am happy I was able to capture it. I look forward to many more wedding and engagement sessions in Chicago thats for sure!
