Photographing in Chicago is a relatively new adventure for me, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the pleasure of exploring this vibrant city, and I’ve fallen in love with its stunning cityscapes and unique charm.
One of my recent experiences in Chicago was particularly memorable. I traveled to the city for an engagement session at Union Station with this wonderful couple before their big day. Spending time with them beforehand was incredible, and it made me even more excited to capture their wedding. We also had the chance to relax at a local park, further solidifying the connection.
Skyline Loft Wedding
The trip to Chicago was filled with anticipation and excitement. Exploring the city was half the fun, but the venue itself truly stood out. The wedding took place in a unique loft space, which was perfect, especially given the rainy weather. Despite the downpour, we managed to capture stunning portraits inside the loft, proving how important it is to have a beautiful indoor space as a backup.
The wedding decor was nothing short of breathtaking. Lush hanging floral installations, flickering candles, and elegant gold accents created a magical atmosphere. I especially loved the table settings, where black plates made the colorful food pop. The bridesmaids’ neutral palette perfectly complemented the traditional black tuxes, adding a touch of sophistication.
Every detail of the wedding, from the self-designed monogram to the reception dinner, was meticulously planned. I’m thrilled I had the opportunity to document such a special day. I’m already looking forward to many more wedding and engagement sessions in Chicago.
With love,
