The holiday season is centered around celebrating, as well as gathering with loved ones, so what better time to have a winter wedding? Truthfully, glam winter perfectly describes Amanda and Mike’s wedding at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club. The Club’s Christmas decorations in addition to luxe tablescapes, ice sculptures, and place settings gave the right amount of glitter and elegance. The venue, Shepherd’s Hollow, is 350 acres of woods and rolling green hills just north of Detroit.
What’s more, the bitter cold didn’t stop the couple from a beautiful outdoor ceremony covered in twinkly lights. Blankets placed in the seats for guests added a cozy and thoughtful touch. The bridal party, including the bride, wore shawls that added a layer of class to their looks.
Finally, Amanda and Mike’s magical, holiday-inspired reception hosted in The Station, is another part of Shepherd’s Hollow. The iron and glass building is beautifully inspired by 19th century European architecture. Ceiling to floor windows bring the outside in where guests are able to look out to towering pine trees.
From beginning to end, the wedding day displayed true sophistication and refinement. Amanda and Mike will surely be sharing this memory with family and friends for years to come.
