Hard to believe that these two lovebirds went to school together from 1st to 12th grade, but even in such a small town, they didn’t start speaking until Megan was off in college in Colorado! A spur of the moment message on Facebook to wish Kyle a happy birthday turned into a long-distance relationship that broke all the stereotypes. Six years later, on a romantic fall ice cream date with their fur-babies, Megan turned around to find Kyle down on one knee, asking her to spend the rest of her life with him!
Fast forward to their wedding day: we met Megan and her bridesmaids getting ready at the glamorous Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan. I’ll never forget seeing Megan’s little sister tear up at the sight of her big sister in her wedding dress! Next we headed out to Marine City for the reception at Megan’s father’s house. What a beautiful location, and right next to Megan’s family’s horse farm. It was only fitting that she rode into the ceremony with her dad on a horse and carriage, just like a fairy-tale! The reception was held afterwards back at the Royal Park Hotel. The banquet room was hardly recognizable with nearly every inch decorated to the nines with diamonds, flowers, and candles! One of my favorite touches was the live painter from Captured by Canvas who was painting the room as the reception was going on, what a unique idea! Every minute of Kyle and Megan’s wedding reflected their beautiful, strong love for each other and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
