Reilly and Emily recited their vows on a beautiful summer day in June. The ceremony and reception took place at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms in Dexter, Michigan. Cornman Farms is just a short drive from Ann Arbor, yet the quiet, country setting makes it feel worlds away. It was the perfect location for an intimate celebration with friends and family.
This wedding is one of those that makes me grateful that this is what I get to do for a living. Building relationships with my clients and creating a positive experience is so important. A couple’s wedding day is one of the most special days of their lives.
Can you tell me about what you were looking for in a photographer?
“We were looking for someone with a lot of experience and a certain style… great photography to us is something you can’t really describe but you just know it when you see it and we felt that when we looked through your portfolio. All of your photos were AMAZING!”
Why did you choose to work with me?
“We liked your style best and by reading through your website, we felt like you were a super genuine person that really cared about your clients and that was something that stood out to us.”
What was your favorite part about the experience?
“You made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Both of us are super shy, quiet people so we were both very nervous about getting photos done. It seemed like an awkward thing to have to do, but you made it fun and easy!”
Describe what you felt when you saw your images for the first time.
“When we looked at our our photos for the first time, we were amazed! We felt like we could completely relive the day just by scrolling through all the photos and we even teared up a bit. We are so happy with how everything turned out and couldn’t ask for anything better!”

“We absolutely loved working with you! You were always willing to help and making sure I (Emily) had everything I needed and that I stayed on schedule leading up to the ceremony.”
