Belle Isle Detroit Engagement

If you’ve ever wondered what a picture perfect couple looks like, look no further. Mike and Megan have cuteness nailed down. Even their dog is gorgeous! Their engagement session on Belle Isle of Detroit is what makes being a photographer so fun. Looking back on these photos and picking my favorites to share is such a hard task because every picture is beautiful and special in it’s own way!

Belle Isle Park is such a sweet location for engagement sessions or families even. Not only that, but there are so many activities for a fun-filled day. The 982-acre park has a free aquarium, nature center, conservatory and much more. There are education programs available and many school field trips are hosted in the park. Volunteer opportunities are also available, which include clean-ups and becoming a greeter for the aquarium.

Culture is everywhere in the park. Belle Isle is home to an annual Koi Festival that celebrates the Japanese heritage of their beautiful Koi collection in the aquarium, as well as many historical and educational resources. There’s something for everyone to enjoy on this little island.

Mike and Megan are getting married at The War Memorial here in Michigan and I cannot wait to see how gorgeous it turns out!
